The Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi™) is a global credential that is designed to validate the professional-level of core human resource knowledge and skills.
This credential is developed to demonstrate mastery of generally accepted principles, independent of geographic region, from professionals practicing HR outside of the United States. Key Learning Outcomes
By the end of this interactive course, the attendees will:
- Monitor activities for opportunities to make improvements, using metrics to measure success and providing and maintaining information related to the HR function.
- Implement the employment process beginning with finding potential employees through preparing for the arrival of a new hire.
- Promote HR policies and procedures and communicating with employees through individual approaches, such as exit interviews, and group approaches, such as a company web site or a rewards program.
- Provide information about compensation and benefits to employees and about policies associated with time off/leaves and with salaries.
- Develop and deliver basic training programs and collect information about training programs.
- Promote a safe work environment, encouraging employee participation in health and wellness programs, and document events that relate to employee well-being (such as injuries, crimes or the return to work after a long absence).
Target Audience
HR Professionals who meet the eligibility requirements:
- Eligibility Minimum of 1 year of professional-level experience in an HR position with a Master’s degree or global equivalent.
OR - Minimum of 2 years of professional-level experience in an HR position with a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent.
OR - Minimum of 4 years of professional-level experience in an HR position with a less than a bachelor’s degree.
